Locanda Verde

Editorial Review

Former expensive Italian aspirations of Ago and its L.A. chef have been replaced by more modest fare produced by yeoman team of locals. The shiny-shiny front's now an open café, and menu prices have dropped by a third to include more traditional, famiglia-friendly options. Big pastas, extensive and reasonably priced wine list, and cake trays loaded by an expert dessert chef. Red sauce for the proletariat, some light adventure in specials for the regulars.
