Already a community-centric neighborhood, Logan Square's Longman & Eagle is a place to rent a room, and a place you pop into for your morning coffee, and then swing by again for dinner. In essence: a hipster hub. And when you're not chilling in your room on the second floor (rooms will open in March), visit the ground floor and look for chef Jared Wentworth's dishes like Kobe meatballs, chickpea fries with harissa ketchup, or seasonal plates like pumpkin risotto with pork belly confit and apples. And definitely expect a late night bar scene, made all the more interesting with the allure of those upstairs rooms.
