Chandeliers from yesteryear, pre-nicked mahogany bar, decorative hexagonal tiles across the floor. Split-levels and tight booths conducive to cliquishness. Scruffy beardos sip brews , get wistful about forgotten northern English bands who sucked anyway. Highbrow beers for just a few bucks, deals aren't too bad.
