Sparse, uncluttered, deliberately worn elegance in a gorgeous, San Telmo corner. Cocktails carefully crafted, wine list well planned, and global modern food expertly exectuted. Kind of spot that has smashed potatoes instead of mere mashed; you get the gist. Staff is limited and unhurried for a supremely mellow experience. Snag a table by a large, rickety window and ask them to open it and turn off the air if the weather's nice. Warm choc tart for dessert to cap off the night before the bill arrives with a slight thud. Owner's well traveled, blue blood stock on display in sedate, worldly touches he's adapted to the local aesthetic.
