Been described as the "mellow" counterpart of Gansevoort's splashy, model-laden Plunge nightclub. That's a stretch. This place came about from the same people that do Prive, after all. Through the hotel's main entrance, past the escalator, in the far-back corner along the enormous shark tank wall is where you'll find its long velvet ropes. Inside, a red velvet wall adorned with skulls, a graffiti wall, bold, fluorescent-colored surfaces, a long white bar, with Louis XIV scroll details running the length of it, and beats from mainstream hip hop to house fill the 6,500-square-foot club. Exceptionally stiff drinks keep the pretty young things dancing all night.
