It might take a while for the camo shorts–wearing bartender to mix your watermelon martini (he’s too busy reenacting the dance-off from that Pat Benatar video), but he doles out shots to make up for the wait. The crowd, definitely gay, doesn’t give a crap about what’s trendy. You’ll make a few new friends, even on your first visit. It wasn’t voted “Best Pick Up Bar in San Francisco” for nothing.
