Sophisticated Shanghainese dining is on the menu at this underrated Jing’An eaterie. Tucked away down the side of the Shanghai Center, near the junction of Nanjing Xi Lu, the entrance is easy to miss – but persistence is rewarded. Serving mostly modern interpretations of trad Shanghai plates, the kitchen also mixes in some Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Sichuan flavors for a little extra bite and spice.
