Homage to Nawlins' Old Absinthe House takes it seriously enough to pack its own marble and brass absinthe fountain topped by a Napoleon statuette. Horseshoe-shaped white marble bar, distressed finishes galore. Vintage ice trays lay out two dozen oyster varieties sourced from New England to British Columbia. Proper Crescent City supping available as well (gumbo, muffaletta), enjoyed in the outdoor garden. Like a visit to the Quarter without the annoying tourists.
