Filling in where Brosia left off—and fell short—is Maitardi, a yummy little Italian spot in the Design District. Expect delish brick oven pizzas, pastas and other nosh of the sort. Opened by the folks who brought it with Spris on Lincoln, Maitardi is big on taste and low on fuss. Lets hope they live up to their namesake—meaning "never late" in Italiano. There's nothing worse than, well, waiting. The fully preserved patio from Brosia's days is ideal for sipping vino (their list ain't too shabby) with pals.
