Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Editorial Review

Controversial addition to tony Boylston St. has neighborhood grumps bemoaning this blasé behemoth.  Large rooms, and great views of the Back Bay are appealing. A variety of oppulent technology-loaded (flatscreens, wireless internet) room packages, with spacious bathrooms and fine details all the way down to the sheets bring in a moneyed jet-setting crowd used to Mandarin's international reputation. Location is perfect for luxe shopping, dining and club going.
