Mansion Hotel

This classical villa is laden with historical intrigue – being formerly owned by Big Ears Du, the Al Capone of 1930s Shanghai. Completely revamped, it is now a boutique heritage hotel set behind large stone walls and with a lovely entrance courtyard. All rooms are spacious with high ceilings and hi-tech facilities, and some boast broad stone balconies. The main attraction, though, is the museum-style lobby, filled with priceless memorabilia from Shanghai’s pre-war golden age.
