Manuel's Tavern

A more than 50-year-old booze trough and pub grub purveyor founded by late Georgia Democrat Manuel Maloof. It's paritally encased by Stone Mountain granite. A cavalcade of characters passed and continue to stroll through the doors including slews of politicians, journalists, blue collars and celebs like Tommy Lasorda, David Crosby and “Deliverance” scribe James Dickey, to name a few. Ancient bar, multiple rooms, local charm and super hot gathering place for televised political events.
