Proprietor Maria Corbalan is the self-proclaimed South Austin Taco Queen. She comes by this honestly. The eggs, onions, jalapenos, and tomatoes in her Mexi tacos make faithful freaks and families mas fuerte every weekend morning. Atop her shack with an outdoor back for live-music attacks is a larger-than-life rendering of herself. Arms outstretched. Like a mother welcoming her children home. That should qualify the comfort level.
