When the traders at London’s best food market pack up their stalls, it’s to the Market Porter they head for their post-work pints. And with good reason. There’s a superb range of British bitters on tap, as well as an excellent bar-snacks menu, making good use of fresh ingredients from the market. The intimate, wood-panelled front bar can get packed with a mix of vendors and local trendies, but there’s more room at the back, where you can rest your drinks on upturned barrels. In good weather, take your glasses outside and sit on the pallets.
