Gorgeous, modelicious mega-room in basement of Maritime Hotel. Dark wood, sweeping staircase, oversized paper lanterns swinging from the rafters of samurai ship ceiling. Despite blinding effervescence, Chef Tadashi Ono warms to sturdy Japanese like duck soup and sesame panna cotta. Freshest sushi and sashimi. Filled to the rafters with sparkly girls who'd rather coo over their food than eat it. Hefty price tag, natch.
