A staple in Paris nightlife since the 1800's, Maxim's was once a tiny restaurant with beautiful baroque paintings, stained glass windows, and gorgeous lighting. The aesthetics are all still there, but Maxim's is now cashing in on their name with a pricey dinner + show gimmick. You'll pay a pretty penny for your meal without catching sight of any actual Parisians. Eat somewhere else and buy a tin of their chocolates at the airport.
