Half restaurant, half locals-only pub, Mead St. is your destination for fancy beers and bar food, including the area’s only decent poutine. Push past the bustling patio to the close-quarters interior. Bar food reaches a different level with more-than-decent burgers and (shock!) a good veg selection. Have to wait?
