Meritage is warm and welcoming even though it's often filled with bourgie wine snobs and striped-shirt-wearing day traders. Made primarily with regionally farmed ingredients, the food as rich as Jay-Z. Brush your shoulders off on their gaslit back patio and bring a date because the seared duck confit and Boston strip with blue cheese cauliflower will put you in the mood, as will the staff and music (better than what's on your own iPod).
