Mesa

Editorial Review

One wouldn't think it would be that hard to find authentic Mexican food in Dallas, but it's harder than it sounds. Thankfully this intimate spot in Oak Cliff offers what it calls "Veracruz coastal cuisine". From mole to oxtail, this is not a typical spot that just caters to gringos. This is the real deal, made with care from people from the Veracruz region of Mexico. The decor is made by the owner/chef, who used recycled materials and old wood. The feel is warm and inviting and the service is very good. The owners and staff obviously care very much about what they're doing and it shows.
