MesoMaya

Editorial Review

Unfortunately for suburbanites, there's not always the same quality of restaurants in the North. Mike Karns, the owner of the El Fenix chain, was looking to change that and he succeeded with a restaurant that could easily have been transplanted from Uptown. It's not so much Tex-Mex as it is real Mexican food in a higher-end setting. The food is great, the drinks are strong and the crowd is surprisingly not your typical suburban family diners.
