BlackBook Lowdown

Shanghai is under-served for Mexican food – and even this Tex-Mex joint is out in the western suburbs. The Hongmei Lu bar and restaurant strip caters mostly to residents rather than visitors, but that’s no reason not to venture here. Mexico Lindo’s hearty platters of fajitas, tacos and enchilladas are accompanied by kicking margaritas and ice-cold Mexican cerveza. The fresh salsa is pretty picante, by any standards.
