Cheesy fast beats throbbing on the Funktion One system, as the Mezz was one of the first clubs in SanFran to have it. In addition to serious live act booking (The Cool Kids, Q-Tip, etc) in a 12K sq. ft. space with a 2,200 ft. dance floor, exposed wood cielings hang over two floors, five full service bars, and an indoor/outdoor smoking lounge. Venue has a pretty devoted following, is clean, and well AC'd with likeable staff, but reports of bartenders adding 20% gratuity to your bar tab ain't cool - pay in cash.
