Michel Rostang

Editorial Review

One of the great wild game enthusiasts - Rostang in autumn loves to cook the forest friends. The presse de lièvre, foie gras et cèpes (wild hare, foie gras, and porcini mushrooms) is a staple, but the daily carte features plenty of other freshly-shot goodness. Year-round Rostang serves luxuriously updated cuisine bourgeoise like quenelles de brochet in lobster sauce and canard au sang. The stately rooms feature cherrywood paneling and his family's stunning collection of flea-market finds. A €78 lunch is the cheapest entry point, otherwise plan on €150+. Closed Saturday lunch and all day Sunday and Monday.
