After wowing locals in Shoreditch, a new branch of Mien Tay opens in Battersea, and it was worth waiting for. Assuredly some of the freshest Eastern flavours south of the river: tantalizingly well cooked greaseless Bánh xèo crispy pancakes, tiny, airy spring rolls, tamarind prawns and perfectly cooked quail. The ambience is Eastern without frills, but the food and price should ensure you rush back in a hurry.
