Miko's Flipside Cafe

Editorial Review

Among the many reasons we dread winter in Chicago, one of them is the closing of Miko’s Italian Ice. Fortunately this year, the basement-level walk-up isn’t going into hibernation for the season. October through April, bundle up and pop by for a soup, grilled cheese, hand-poured coffee, spiced cider, or baked good. Heartier patrons can take a seat on the patio bench; otherwise plan on grabbing to go.
