MiLa

Editorial Review

As close to a cutting edge restaurant as New Orleans gets, married co-owners Allison Vines-Rushing (a James Beard award winner) and Slade Rushing work a cerebral take on contemporary Creole food with dishes like "Deconstructed Oysters Rockefeller." The produce is grown at nearby Lujele Farms, natch. Inside, the atmosphere is cool and muted, with striking swaths of deep blue throughout and a sea of striking light fixtures. It's the New Orleans restaurant of the future!
