Momofuku Ssäm Bar

Editorial Review

Wunderkind chef David Chang spins off smash hit Momofuku Noodle Bar. Artisanal ingredients class up burritos instead of ramen. Bibb lettuce or flour pancakes (known as ssäm in Korean) wrap organic meat, with flavor bumped by kimchee purée or pickled shiitake. Former late-night experiment menu hits prime time come 6pm. Long, sleek space really just a frame for the food. Pork-tastic and vegetarian-hostile. Crazy buzzy; for your own sanity, come at a weird time.
