Call it in the new test kitchen, Matt Maroni of Gaztro Wagon fame started off by taking his show on the road. Now he’s parked his wheels at the former Terragusto space on Armitage where he serves up small plates categorized by type of fish or meat (or lack thereof). The fare, ranging from far-fetched to just a bit twisted, includes dishes such as whitefish with yogurt, peaches, watercress and pecans and wild boar belly with white beans, dates and olive puree. The upstairs finds mixologist Matthew Lipsky whipping up small batch spirit cocktails with 29 types of bitters, beers and wine (all bottles are available by the glass).
