This is the original Morton's, the genesis of what is now a nationwide chain. As you're led underground (literally) to a table in a dark room that's distressingly close to other tables crowded with business types in grey double-breasted suits, you'll want to get a martini in you right away to cope with the claustrophobia. Once you're properly loosened up, the ridiculous price tag on that ridiculously huge slab of meat in front of you won't seem so bad. One bite and you'll agree: it's sublime.
