Kittitian Sylvester "Mr. X" Phipps used to rent water-sports gear from and beer from an old ice cream truck on this mellow beach front. Fast forward ten years and his joint is a classic to locals and tourists alike. Grab a picnic table and indulge in the heavy pours. Then absorb the absurd amounts of rum you just drank with Mahi Mahi in lemon butter sauce, or the cheapest grilled lobster on the island. Simple and fresh. Saturdays for karaoke, live bands the rest of the time, and a bonfire on Thursdays and every time the moon gets full.
