It's like your first girlfriend in college, the one who did everything right so you dissed her for the hot blonde in your Biology class. The food is solid to impressive but not quite outstanding. It's like Kanye West, a solid performance but in the end pretty safe and somewhat tame, execept for the soup which may be multi-orgasmic. Friendly homegrown servers keep the multi-faceted Tavern flowing freely as a chrome-plated Kohl kitchen faucet.
