Mundial Cocina Mestiza

Editorial Review

Opened by three veterans of Chicago's fine-dining scene, this cozy restaurant is anything but white tablecloths and snooty servers. The tortillas are made fresh to order, the tamales are homemade and the banana crepes will make you want to cry. The menu is regional Latin and Mediterranean cuisine, one of the best deals in town and BYOB. Pick up a bottle of wine on the way and they'll whip up some sangria for you.
