It makes perfect sense that it's friends and friends of friends who gather en masse to this old house in the middle of a residential neighborhood; the feeling is to be at home. The boxy living room is now a gutted-out dance room, the kitchen's food fridges have been replaced with beer coolers so full they almost burp, and the back house are clean bathrooms with—much to our relief—lots of stalls. A commendable project by one of the favorite DJs from Milo Garage, the idea hits well with the indie rock kids who purposely dress down to maintain the "hey, I didn't plan to come here" atmosphere, the very patrons who add the right personality to the plain white-washed walls.
