Dining room's not much to speak of, but the pizza is. For Queens natives who scoff at Grimaldi's and Lombardi's claims to greatness, not to mention their down-the-block lines. Nick's may lack the history (little more than a decade old), but its crisp, thin pies are the real deal. Incredibly fresh sauce and imported mozzarella layered sparse, not Sbarro-gooey. Nice array of toppings includes fresh mushrooms and olives.
