The Oasis

A perennial out-of-towner destination, thanks to the jaw-dropping sunsets and lake views. Its cliff-defying network of decks partially burned down in 2005 but has recently risen from the ashes. Mexican rules, but sandwiches and other fare are available. Live music emanates from the Starlight Terrace on weekends. On Monday nights, dance classes are free with an Oasis dinner receipt. Too bad you can't camp out here, considering the left-field locale.
