Oliveto Café and Restaurant

Editorial Review

Paul Bertolli’s masterpiece of Renaissance bourgeois. Elegant huntsman’s supper room. Indulgence spilleth over, and so does the Barolo. House-made salami, delicate pasta, rotisserie meats. Would be heaven if it weren’t so subdued, wrinkly and overrun with the subtle snob. Good for Sunday brunch when the in-laws come to town. Some of the best eats in East Bay, but you’ll pay a hefty price. Bring your parents.
