Delightfully tasteful with villagey atmosphere, steers clear of all chi chi clichés. Serves up a hundred blends of teas, decent coffee, wheat-free cakes, breakfast and lunch. If you know your Lapsang from your Earl Grey you will love whitewashed walls and tea paraphernalia decorating the room. Highlight remains British afternoon cream tea though with cucumber and mint rough cut sandwiches, fluffy warm little scones, home-made jam and lashings of clotted cream.
