If you hate loud, live rock, indie, punk or electronica, stay far away from the Ottobar. Outside of the incredible national, independent and underground acts that come through the Ottobar, there's not much to it. The decor is chez shitty coupled with uber slacker. Still, I guarantee that you'll barely notice once the first chords are strum and the crowd gets going. Upstairs is a bit more laid back featuring jazz acts.
