Ouisi Bistro

Editorial Review

Over the years, this Shaughnessy fave has earned almost as much neighborhood loyalty as its NOLA inspiration. Breezy French doors and secret courtyard play it cool on sunny days where the bon temps start with bennies and a popular weekend brunch, and for lunch, the chicken pesto 14th Street Eats sandwich can't be beat. Other faves: jambalaya with local chorizo, an oyster po'boy paneed with maque choux, a pre-theater set menu and a scotch list that's really a bon marche.
