This place makes good-enough pizza (odd combos, clever names) and serves them in a brightly-colored dining room with well-priced wine. But you’re not staying. The gimmicky raison d’être of the Flamingo is the balloon. Pick one up when you order takeout, then go find a good spot along the Canal Saint-Martin. By the time you’ve finished a glass of wine or two, dude will deliver the pizza to your balloon.

the pizza is far better than just "good-enough"...the pies are gourmet! each one has a delicate balance of flavors not found in any other pizza joint in Paris, maybe even the whole EU....good enough....bah
