P.J. Clarke's at Lincoln Square

business thumbnail

Editorial Review

More than a century behind the original in terms of history, but provides a reasonable facsimile for westsiders all the same. Brings in a pre-Lincoln Center contingent, tourists, a few locals here and there. Convivial enough, thanks to the long wood bar and red and white checked tablecloths. Standard bar food follows big brother's lead, with a raw bar and Cadillac burgers with bacon and cheese. Windows open to the street, jacking the ambiance in the temperate seasons.
