The Hamptons » Restaurant » Shelter Island » International
A little off the beaten path, with regards to both style and because you'll be taking a ferry to get here. Shelter Island's separated from the Hamptons by more than the thin strip of water you need to cross to get there, and that comes through in the laid back, funky vibe at Bliss. Don't get the wrong idea: crowd's here in the summer for wide-reaching menu sporiting Blue Claw crab cakes to veggie dumplings to fish tacos, all of it good. Brunch is a thing, with a menu maybe larger than the dinner menu, including fresh squeezed OJ mimosas, smoothies, and juices. They also don't look at you like you're from another planet if you want a tofu scramble, so chic Manhattanites: accomodated.
