Classic Gotham at its most, er, classic. Home Alone, Donald Trump, Eloise, Midwestern tourists - everyone loves The Plaza. Recent renovation/conversion means more lux apartments, but grand, opulent - dare we say fucking tacky, gaudy rooms still harken to a gilded age of yore, ye young upstarts! Tea with our darling mum is a must at the Palm Court, and the Oak Room is where uncle Humphrey used to take us when we were wee lads. Just kidding we wouldn't be caught dead in the joint but it's on the to do list right next to the Statue of Liberty and watching the ball drop in Times Square. Classic.
