Editorial Review

Jefferson hotel's romantic resto raises the bar for date nights to atmospheric heights. Hyphenated last names of Georgetown still reeling with shock and awe of such gourmet perfection and so close to home. French-trained chef paints all four seasons with a menu from original Monticello kitchen gardens. Meat is "medallions", sauce is veloute. Truffles rain frequently. White walls, baroque sconces and crystal explosion are Mr. Burns' dining room. At least one guest wearing white gloves.
