BlackBook Lowdown

High life at the chlorine pit atop the Gansevoort. Incredible western views alone worth the ride up. Crowd isn't the coolest assortment of human beings ever assembled, but you should be looking at the Hudson, not each other. And you can smoke. Pool access is for hotel guests only and bar is glassed-in, two things to keep firmly in mind after that ninth shot gives you the sudden urge to swan dive off your stool.
