Poodie's Hilltop Bar & Grill

Editorial Review

Deceased namesake "Poodie" Locke was Willie Nelson's road manager back in the day. Naturally, he knew everybody in Texas music. Heavy hitters the likes of Ray Wylie Hubbard, Leon Russell, and Billy Joe Shaver have played his roadhouse west of town. Even Willie drops in now and again to entertain retired cosmic cowboys entranced by the glow of neon signage. As per Poodie, there are "no bad days" here.
