TLC comes is included in the price at this little-known, fully affordable bed & breakfast located in a primo area. True respite in the middle of the fifth largest metropolis, in a carefully reformed Portuguese-style house that's becoming rarer as more condo complexes are erected. Wood floors and furniture fill out sparse, pleasant and plentifully lit rooms, whose doors surround a sweet, small courtyard that lets in lots of sun. To relax, the lobby's wicker chairs invite quiet time. An attached restaurant emphasizes healthy dining free of trans fats, focusing on a mixed bag of Asian cuisine in a Brazilian countryside setting.
