Prava Suites

It's not a bad thing when a modern luxe hotel, the kind whose rooms are equipped with wireless, 42” HDTVs, iPod docks, gets a makeover in preparation for its Starwood communion. But that's what's happening at Prava, still open for business, but getting a touch-up before it joins the empire behind W Hotels. Restaurant and bar  jump up a floor, and the lobby is getting face-lifted. The fitness center and swimming pool are also closed for renovations, but expect bigger and better--Starwood style--upon their return.
