Privet Cove

Editorial Review

The name may sound like it came out of some Better Homes and Gardens nightmare, but don't let that dissuade you. Mainly a home store, this shop has hidden within it innumerable objects all carrying the same weathered beachy feel, whether shells and coral; furniture such as desks, tables and dressers; crap to hang on your walls, like semi-ubiquitous Swedish stars; or hand-hewn vintage chestnut candlesticks, battered camera equipment and bar tools. Somehow all the bric-a-brac and furniture is presented in an uncluttered way that makes sense. No such guarantees can be made once you get the loot home.
