Big. Dumb. Irish. Bar. Maybe not so dumb; transportive décor's something straight outta Hogwarts, and take-no-shit Irish staff won't tolerate men ordering Magners, and they can get a perfect pour out of their individually temp-controlled taps. Mixed after-work crowd can get boisterous, and main floor can get a little crowded if you don't get a table, so head up (to the low-ceilinged attic-like third floor) or down (to The Gate, a basement space), both directions being slightly more intimate. Bonus: discreet backdoor on Crosby for those occasions when you need to make an Irish Goodbye.
